Cats choose beds that smell like safety. Place a used shirt or blanket inside for the first few days. and put it in a spot your cat already likes, not where you wish they'd sleep.
Is it machine washable?
The cushion cover is removable and machine-washable on cold/gentle. Air-dry the frame and cushion. don't tumble dry the wooden or rattan pieces.
How big of a cat will this fit?
Our cat beds are sized for adult domestic cats up to about 18 lbs. Maine Coons and other giant breeds may need to go one size up.
Will the material shed or splinter?
Tight-weave rattan and kiln-dried wood won't splinter under normal use. Rough edges are sanded at the factory and finished with a pet-safe stain.
Can kittens use it safely?
Yes. the openings and heights are sized so kittens can climb in and out without risk. Supervise the first few uses just to be sure.
