The Right Dog Bed Changes Everything

A dog spends most of their life sleeping. Adult dogs sleep between 12 and 14 hours a day, and senior dogs push that number even higher. That means the bed you pick is basically their second home. Get it right and your dog lands soft every night. Get it wrong and they end up on your couch anyway.

Our dog bed collection is built around the idea that pets deserve the same thoughtful design we put into human furniture. We carry orthopedic beds for big breeds with sore joints, plush calming beds for anxious pups who need walls to lean on, wooden frame beds that double as real room decor, and everything in between. Size ranges from tiny teacup pups all the way up to Great Dane territory.

The Science

Why Orthopedic Support Actually Matters

A 2019 study in the Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association found that more than 20 percent of adult dogs show signs of osteoarthritis, and the risk climbs sharply after age seven.

  • That is a lot of dogs quietly in pain.
  • Memory foam and high density orthopedic fills cushion the hips, elbows, and shoulders while a dog rests, which reduces pressure points and helps them wake up less stiff.
  • Now imagine twelve hours on it.

A real orthopedic bed is one of the cheapest quality of life upgrades you can give a dog.

For aging dogs who struggle to climb up, pair any of these with pet stairs or a ramp so they can still reach their favorite spot.

How To Pick The Right Size

Measure your dog from nose to the base of the tail while they stand still. Add six to twelve inches.

  • That is your minimum bed length.
  • Too big is way better than too small.
  • For larger breeds, pay attention to the fill.

Our bigger beds use high density foam rated for eighty pounds or more, because a bed that lasts one season is not really a deal.

If your dog sleeps on the porch too, our outdoor dog houses use the same high-density foam logic with raised insulated floors.

Cleaning, Training, And The Honest Truth

Every cover in this collection zips off and goes in the washer. That is not a nice to have, that is a must.

  • Dogs drag in grass, mud, rain, drool, and the occasional accident.
  • A bed you cannot wash becomes a bed you secretly hate within three weeks.
  • Most bedding destruction happens in the first three days, usually from boredom or anxiety.

Chewing almost always fades once the bed starts to smell like home.

For dogs who settle better with walls around them, our furniture-style dog crates offer a den feel without looking like a training cage.
