A Bowl On The Floor Is Not The Whole Answer
Any old bowl will hold food. A purpose built feeder will hold food, improve your pet's posture, keep the kibble fresh, and store your pet supplies in one clean spot. If your current setup is a metal bowl and a plastic scoop leaning against the wall, a feeding station upgrade is one of those changes that immediately makes the kitchen feel better.
Our pet feeder collection includes elevated feeders for medium and large dogs, tilt out storage cabinets, modern feeding stations with stainless steel inserts, and space saving designs for small kitchens and apartments.
Match the style of your kitchen with hidden cat litter furniture from the same clean aesthetic.

Elevated Feeders And Posture
A 2012 study in the Journal of the American Animal Hospital Association looked at feeder height for medium and large dogs and found that an elevated bowl lets most dogs eat with a straighter neck and back, which reduces strain on the shoulders and spine during longer meals.
- The right height is roughly chest level, just below the shoulder joint when your dog is standing.
- There is an ongoing debate about whether elevated feeders increase bloat risk in deep chested breeds like Great Danes and Dobermans.
- The research is mixed and not conclusive.
For most dogs, the posture benefit outweighs the concern.

Cat Feeders Too
Cats also benefit from slight elevation. Eating face down with the neck bent wide can cause regurgitation in some cats, especially older ones.
- A shallow bowl lifted a few inches off the floor makes mealtime easier on their throat and posture.
- Whisker fatigue is another real thing.
- Cats with long whiskers can find deep narrow bowls genuinely uncomfortable, since the whiskers drag against the rim with every bite.
Our cat compatible feeders use wider bowls on purpose.
Cats who love a perched vantage often also like our cat trees with built-in eating platforms.

Tilt Out Cabinets And Kibble Storage
A tilt out feeding station hides a five or ten pound kibble bin inside a clean cabinet, which keeps the food sealed, the ants out, and the kitchen looking tidier.
- Pull the door forward and scoop directly from the bin.
- Some models include a second compartment for treats, medications, or leashes.
- Kibble oxidizes once opened, which makes it taste worse and lose some nutritional value.
Plan to finish each bag within about thirty days of opening for the best nutrition.
