The Truth About Foam

The Real Cost of a Bad Dog Bed

A cheap bed that fails in 4 months costs you more over 5 years than a premium bed that lasts. But the real cost isn't financial — it's physical.

When standard poly-fill flattens, your dog's elbows, hips, and shoulders grind directly into the hard floor. Over time, this micro-trauma accelerates joint degradation and arthritis.

Our orthopedic memory foam is different. We use high-density, human-grade foam that actively pushes back against your dog's weight, suspending their joints in perfect alignment. It doesn't pancake. It doesn't sag. It supports.

Expert Advice

Frequently Asked Questions

My dog is a heavy chewer. Will this bed survive?

Our covers are built with heavy-duty, tear-resistant materials designed to withstand digging and nesting behaviors. However, no fabric bed is 100% indestructible against a determined, aggressive chewer. We recommend redirecting chewing behavior with appropriate toys.

How do I clean the bed if my dog has an accident?

It's incredibly easy. Unzip and remove the outer cover, and toss it in the washing machine on cold. The internal memory foam is protected by a waterproof liner — simply wipe the liner down with a damp cloth and mild enzyme cleaner. Never put the memory foam itself in the washing machine.

Should I size up if my dog is between sizes?

Yes. It is always better for a bed to be slightly too large than too small. If your dog's limbs hang off the edge of the bed, their spine is forced out of alignment, defeating the purpose of the orthopedic foam.
